Who a WDI / Termite Inspection Is For

WDI inspections are designed for buyers and homeowners involved in real estate transactions where a wood-destroying insect inspection is required by a lender, buyer, or other party. This inspection is commonly requested during home purchases and refinances to document observed conditions at the time of inspection.

What’s Included in a WDI / Termite Inspection

  • Visual inspection of readily accessible areas for evidence of wood-destroying insects
  • Inspection of exterior, interior, crawlspace, and other accessible areas as applicable
  • Documentation of observed conditions at the time of inspection
  • Completion of required inspection documentation when applicable

The inspection is limited to visible and accessible areas and does not include invasive testing or damage assessment.

Your Inspection Documentation

You’ll receive completed WDI inspection documentation outlining observed conditions at the time of inspection. Documentation is provided to support real estate transaction requirements and reflects conditions visible and accessible during the inspection.

This inspection documents observed conditions only and does not include damage assessment or treatment recommendations.
